Our Mustard Seed School community will gather for three special occasions to mark and honor Mustard Seed School’s legacy. If you’re new to Mustard Seed or re-connecting with us, Mustard Seed School will merge with The Hudson School for the 2024-2025 school year. So these special occasions take on even more significance.

A Mustard Seed Retrospective, April 25  Instead of a gala format, we will have a cocktail-hour retrospective. The purpose of the retrospective is to hear and tell stories. Remember events in the life of the school. The space will be designed as a retrospective demonstrating Mustard Seed’s values expressed through daily life at Mustard Seed.

• The homage will take the form of an art installation and will welcome Spring Concert and Commencement guests.

Middle School Spring Concert, May 23  Attendees of the Middle School Spring Concert will be welcomed by elements of the retrospective we saw at the evening event. Not only will the middle school students share their work, I hear that the audience may get to join in singing some old favorites.

Commencement, June 20  Commencement will continue to focus on each child and this year will hold a special place in the life of the school. We will honor the work of Mustard Seed- and we will set our sights on the beginning of new adventures with all that we have learned and experienced together these four decades. Attendees of Commencement will also see the retrospective as they arrive.
