Programs, philosophy, and school life
Desiring Mustard Seed children to have an appreciation of cultures and languages from around the world, the school exposes students to foreign languages at all grade levels and in a variety of settings. Rich involvement of foreign languages will be found in music classes, story times, social studies units, worship settings, and game playing, all in addition to formal language instruction. More formal instruction, depending on the grade level and year, is offered in Spanish or Latin. Wherever possible, foreign language instruction is integrated with other disciplines to enrich children's understanding of people around the world, and to affirm the rich diversity seen in their Hudson County neighborhoods.
