Gifts that change lives today…and tomorrow!
Together for Tomorrow: the campaign for Mustard seed
At Mustard Seed School, you help us dream about an exciting future. Because of you, we’re educating more students than ever before. To continue to grow and thrive, the school has launched a campaign, Together for Tomorrow, to raise $3 million.
The plan is bold. Our goal is nothing less than to secure the future of the school. Money raised through the campaign will support today’s students while increasing the school’s sustainability. Your campaign gift accomplishes both objectives by funding these important needs:
- ENDOWMENT GROWTH: $2,000,000
The endowment fund presently contributes $40,000 to the operating budget, which supports the annual $1.6M financial aid program. A larger endowment will enable us to fulfill every dimension of the mission and offer even more aid to students.
- A BUILDING FUND FOR A SECURE FUTURE: $500,000
The school is currently in the fifth year of a fifteen-year lease. While the space has served us well, maintaining a high-quality educational environment requires many capital investments to infrastructure and technology.
- ENDOWED ACADEMIC CHAIRS: $500,000
The successful launch of the Academic Chair program has inspired the school to seek funding for two additional Academic Chairs. The Agnes and Peter Steenland Memorial Chair for Professional Development is one of them and the Coleman Fung Chair for Creativity and Design is another.

Progress toward the goal
Already the campaign has had great successes through the support of our amazing community. Many of our major gifts have come from donors who have never had a child at Mustard Seed! This speaks so much to the valuable experiences offered here.
We have only $200,000 to go to cross the finish line! Won’t you be a part of this milestone and be a part of our campaign by making a gift today?
