Las Posadas

Celebrations help us remember and tell the story of God's work in history. Each December through Las Posadas we re-enact the story of Joseph and Mary seeking a place to stay in Bethlehem.
About 400 people gather in Church Square Park and parade through the streets of Hoboken. They are finally welcomed into a place where Jesus can be born. The evening, based on traditional Mexican festivals, culminates with a reading of the Christmas story and a pinata party.
