Don’t let money get in the way.
Over half of our families receive need-based financial aid. It is important to us that students of all backgrounds attend Mustard Seed School. And when you look at our student body, you can’t tell who receives aid and who doesn’t. You just see children of God. Learning together. Playing together.
We use a third party, SMART AID to assist us in evaluating financial need. Below is the process you need to follow to apply for financial aid. You can apply in English or in Spanish. If you have any difficulties, do not hesitate to contact us.
- Create an online account on the SMART AID website. Note: If web access is a problem for you, contact us.
- Complete the application, following these instructions and the on-line prompts.
- Note: You will need to upload a copy of your most recent IRS Form 1040, W-2, and pay stub to your SMART AID account. Separated or divorced parents are required to submit a set of documents for each parent and a copy of all legal documents pertaining to the child custody and support agreements.
- Submit the online application by February 15, along with the fee of $35. If this fee is a burden, please contact Michele Postema, Director of Admissions, 201.653.5548.
Mustard Seed’s Financial Aid Committee will review the SMART AID report and documentation, determine the financial aid award, and communicate with you.
Note: SMART AID does not give any financial aid awards. Mustard Seed provides financial assistance thanks to the generosity of donors, including individuals, churches, companies, and foundations.
