Mustard Seed School is a pre K-8 Christian school with a diverse student body. Our students represent many ethnic backgrounds and the full socioeconomic spectrum. Because Mustard Seed School has an intentional mission to the urban poor, financial aid is given to 50% of the student body. The staff who work here are all Christians, representing a variety of denominations and striving to build a cohesive learning community within the school.

 

We believe in building a curriculum that allows for teacher strengths and artistry to be fully utilized. Teachers are facilitators, guides, coaches, and models at several levels; they are not simply dispensers of knowledge. They are worthy faculty members, curriculum creators, community members, change agents—as well as good teachers.
